OMG O.N-J has a new X-Mas album

Try to check out the new ABC television show 'Pushing Daisies' - it's a sassy, smart whodunit with a supernatural twist. It was great fun to watch with a knockout cast, featuring Emerson Cod (Boston Public), Swoosie Kurtz (Broadway, everything else) and Ellen Greene (Little Shop of Horrors, Heroes). It is promise of a clever future in television programming so catch it now before it's cancelled.

Heroes, on the other hand, suxed donkey dix last night - the only interesting part was watching Claire experiment with her powers by scissoring off her pinky toe. As for the rest of the storyline or characters, I didn't care that much. It must have been a filler episode, hopefully to prepare us for a more exciting future episode.

There was another critter incursion into the pond last night, but this time Sean said he witnessed hearing some creature "splashing around" in there when he came home from work, but was unwilling to investigate further into the matter. I asked him if it was human-sized, and he at least confirmed that it was not so big, more like the size of a breadbox. How do I stop a raccoon or possum from doing what they do?

John got Spice Girls tickets for their show in L.A. The Spice Girls are not coming to DC. I'm sending out my unit of pink special forces ninja assassins to slay John and retrieve the tickets for me.

Olivia Newton-JohnOlivia Newton-John will be releasing a new Christmas CD, available November 1st at Target. Between O.N-J, Chaka-Kahn and Annie Lennox, it's hard to keep up with our divas these days. Thanks to Daniel for the tip. You can download your own O.N-J Xanadu desktop wallpaper from Daniel's collection here. Full track list from the album after the break.

Rough trade pic posted because I liked it. Note the subtle curl of fur at the collar.

I agree... Heroes was boring. It's starting to feel like a rehash of last season.

Scissoring?

Keeping my hopes up for the NY show...

The best part of the second show was Peter shirtless. The first season worked because it was like a puzzle and all of the story lines eventually wove together. This season seems much more random and dis-connected.

"Subtle" curl of fur?! That awesome tuft looks like it's promising hirsute-heaven to whoever is lucky enough to get that shirt off. Grrwoof!

Okay...we started the week with the *WOOF* Brett Favre, then we had Scott scruffage hottieness, and now this unnamed but grrrr stud with the buzzed head and the scruff....keep this up and I will be forced reverse my moratorium on dating *swooon*

If it helps, I now have my shotguns with me. A nice blast from the 12 guage? You'd look fabulous in a chic coon skin cap.

The visiting critters come late (early morning) - I'd have to set up some sort of silent alarm to know they're there before I blast 'em. I do worry about rabid raccoons - there are more incidents of rabies with raccoons than with rats. Maybe I could get the rats in the alley to guard the pond for some kibbles in return?

I love your blog! You are such a tease! In a very good way. You little woof yourself.....

Keep up the excellent finding of Woofs and more..

You must visit Palm Springs CA

Pride & Leather Pride in November.

Oh so very many Woofs then...really!!!!

I just got my Spice Girls tickets yesterday too. I actually pre-registered via their website to buy them a few months ago. The only seats left available, however, were "Premium Level Seating". Two tickets plus parking and service charge totaled $291.90! By far the most expensive show I will have seen in my lifetime. Don't hate me, but I think we got 10th row right! ;-)

The curl o'fir is a squirrel hiding down his shirt.

We watched "Pushing Daisies" the other night too. Our first thought was "This is way to good for network TV. There's no way it'll survive."

Posted by: dumbek at October 5, 2007 9:33 AM

Jimbo, you live in DC. The Rats have always been in charge :)

Oh, and the Pushing Daisy's Lee Pace is totally gay, according to the queens in the know on the Datalounge.

Pace is not my type (I like em short and beefy), but cute if you like em tall and lanky.

I like Heroes enough to watch it every Monday. But I think I'll eventually stop watching it just as I stopped watching Lost. In an hour you'll be able to expect 10 minutes of anything happening.

I'm inclined to think it's a raccoon in the pond. I don't know how deep it is but if it isn't at least 18 - 24 inches deep, you might want to make it deeper if that's possible. No expert, of course, just guessin'.

His eyes ruin the rough part. Not that I mind, but they're awfully perky. As in, below the crop there's some sashay going on.

Hey Jimbo, I don't know where you come up with some of these studs, but I wonder how many of these guys you post in your blog realize they get both instant stardom and stalkers after being featured in your blog. Way to go!

And damn, I guess it's WAAAYYY to late to try to find tickets for Spice Girls I guess... just have to wait for the new album to get my fix I guess.
