Transformers

Find out which Transformer you are at LiquidGeneration!

Great...I'm a frikkin' hippie geologist dune buggy transformer.

I saw Transformers tonight with Gurl, and the film was so awesome I was crying by the end of the film. The Optimus/Megatron dynamic was dead-on. Sure, some of the characters were merged or changed (and of course the black Autobot dies first) but overall I was very impressed. Even the human acting was entertaining, and the action was off the hook. Considering how it could have been messed up I thought it was very well done.

Considering all the excitement this summer between the Spice Girls reuniting, Kylie on Dr. Who, seeing Xanadu on Broadway and the Transformers live-action film, I might just become a being of energy and transcend to another plane of existence:

woot! Beachcomber was pretty laxed bot to hang with.... Pretty darn smart too with more screen time then that looser Skids.

Awesome test though.. pretty funny. Somehow ended up with Prime.

Give us a call from the other plane of existence Jimbo.

I must admit, one of my first cassette tapes for my boom box was Xanadu. I was a big ELO freak... and loved ONJ too.

Naturally I've owned Xanadu on CD for quite some time.

I was rather upset that Jazz was killed. (But I would not call him the "Black Autobot")

All of the Cybertonians were dead on. Frenzy needed some ritalin though.
And who knew Shia Lebouf would grow up to be such a cute young man. Megan Fox was sexy

My favourite part is at the ending credits where it says "BASED ON THE TOY LINE BY TAKARA/HASBRO" not Based on the animated series. It put a grin on my face since it will make the emofanbous foam at the mouth.

I enjoyed Transformers as well, even with the constant GM, Nokia and Ebay references. Someone had to pay production costs! lol

Even better, Jimbo. Scot from BillinExile also scored as Beachcomber. Who knew you two had so much in common?

that was hilarious in a sense....as it's so bad and not even in the ubiquitous "showgirls is so camp it's bad but great" -- observing from a front row seat, it amazes me at times -- how gay men have consumed such a fecal pill and some haven't been throwing up on a regular basis, let alone plenty of other people. still love your blog as you're funny and more -- yet, is la lucha such a novel concept that it requires mass marketing and sudden hip creds in hyper-promo mode?? to make it chronically ironic yet not in the brownies kind of way, as that would promote a far too relaxed approach to functioning -- such as watching one's behavior while witnessing mass slaughter. oh wait, my part doesn't call for that -- what would miss manners do?? cue in -- vomit!!

I loved the movie too and thought they did a great job, even left it open in a none cheesy way for the next movie...that they are already optioning

I love your blog. Kylie on Doctor Who, Spice Girls reunion, wow. All the crap I admit to love.

I find it admirable that the Muses were so ethnically diverse. Very forward-thinking of the gods. I saw Xanadu in the theater when it came out in 1980. I was quite smitten with it, and I went through a phase where I thought it would be pretty cool to be Olivia Newton John. Somehow, I felt that made me different than the other boys in my class.
