Happy 4th of July!
Let's celebrate the anniversary of our former democracy republic with joy.

The fireworks in Shaw started about a week ago. But I think in their excitement they used up all the pyrotechnics, as it's been silent for like 48 hours.
I have no plans today other than to go to the gym, which may be closed by the time I get there. But at least I got out on my bike. The freaks in my City of Heroes supergroup were on last night and we ended up playing until 3am this morning. I'm pulling out one hero, Poodle Patriot, tonight for some Red, White and Blue scrapper action.

Former democracy? Our country is a republic, in case you forgot. And as for "the whole Bush pardoning Libby thing" in your previous post, his sentence was commuted.

Yeah, he hasn't pardoned him, he just took away his jail sentence, the only part of the punishment that might have hurt at all! He won't pardon him completely until he is about to leave office and right before Libby has to pay the fine. Thank for ruining my entire day Jimbo.

I'm pretty sure that a 250K fine is going to hit anyone in the pocket book plus he was disbarred, I'm still waiting for Sandy Berger to go to jail. AND yes also we live in a republic, in which we elect people to represent us in a forum and vote on decisions..or we could call them bills.
Skwurl, you're prejudging! besides didn't Clinton pardon his brother for drug crimes?

Not only should Sandy Berger be headed to the big house, but what about Richard Armitage who is the person Libby took the fall for. Once it was determined that it wasn't a Bush crony responsible for the leak, no one cared about pursuing this issue any longer........hmmmmmm!
