Crack Attack in tha 'hood

9pm on a Wednesday night, the DC MPD shining the Crack Lantern on Westminster Street, just off of 10th St., NW DC.
Westminster & 10th Streets, NW DC
I guess there's been some crime on that street or something. I'm glad my bedroom isn't on that side of the block, as its a really bright light.

Mike Rowe is hung:

Thanks Texkenobi.

What is the "crack light" supposed to do?

Posted by: Kevin-Andrew at April 25, 2007 10:38 PM

Perhaps the light is meant to repel Wraiths? From the D&D monster manual entry:

Daylight Powerlessness (Ex): Wraiths are utterly powerless in natural sunlight (not merely a daylight spell) and flee from it.

The bright light does repel drug dealers and shady muggers. At another nearby hotspot for crime where drug use was rampant, somewhat regular horseback patrols and the Crack Light drove the problem druggies away.

Doesn't this up and coming, hip and trendy area sound like a great place to drop $300K on a property?

Yes, but it is artificial light and a vampire could easily walk along that road.

$300K, hah!

Mike Rowe has that wide-bellybutton-crease thing going.

Hot?

There's nothing micro on Mike Rowe, eh?

And the wide-bellybutton-crease thing is in fact hot on Mr. Mike.

Why is Mike hanging out in public in his panties?

Posted by: homer at April 27, 2007 3:36 PM

I don't care why he is in his panties, just that he looks hot in them. How does one get to intern on that show? I will be the towel boy, back washer guy!
