careful with the nail gun, your 'nads
Not that many of you are finishing projects in the home this time of year, but please be careful with the nail gun and the 18-inch chip auger drill bit if you must use such things. Case studies at the bottom of the article.
And avoid using a pair of blunt wire cutters to cut off your testicles either. In fact, just don't off your 'nads at all, even if your favorite team loses the game.

You know the English always said the Welsh were ABB (Absolutely Bloody Bonkers). It's a shame he's helping out the cause. At least no sheep were harmed in the incident. I'll bet they let him cut in front of the line at the hospital.

When I was in college there was a pneumatic staple gun in the scenery shop at the theater. Someone has de-rigged the safety feature that was supposed to only let it "fire" when the head was placed on a surface. We used it to shoot staples at a giant stuffed chicken that hung from the fly space. I was always amazed no one took it in the eye (or the back of the head) by mistake.
