Apollo's Belt indeed
These screencaps, courtesy of Bentblog, really don't do Friday's barracks scene from Battlestar Galactica much justice. Try and catch the episode if you can, but here's the best sample of Jamie Bamber (Bam-Bam) who plays Apollo on the show:
And really, if you aren't watching BSG these days, what's your problem? All woofy/hottie comments aside, it's the best writing and acting on television these days.

I would like to be in a Starbuck & Apollo Sammich :-) now thats Fracking hot. Helo is yummy as well.
Sci-Fi channel writers are taking advantage of the fact that they can take things a little further than regular "broadcasting" channels. Since technically Sci-Fi channel is a paid service they are not subjected to as many of the same guide lines as non cable broadcast stations. Also like FX, BRAVO and IFC they are airing these shows after 9pm.
They also understand that folks are tired of these so called reality shows and want something not only entertaining but thought provoking as well.

Other then it being a great show, unfrackenbeliveable men like THAT are another reason to watch. :)

Judging from the bulge in the towel, the Arrow of Apollo must be breathtaking to behold.

I can't believe they did that, it was SOOO hot! Apollo can run around with his towel falling off in front of me any day!

Posted by: myke at September 12, 2005 1:05 PM
Maybe the cylons could, erm, make about a hundred more copies of some'a dat?

Yeah - I noticed that my wife does not ask me to continue looking for another show when Apollo shows up on BSG. Now, I am all about the ladies but Apollo has Starbuck beat - hands down.

Poor guy - I bet he's really insecure about his body. :)

The writing and plot-line in this show is incredible. But, i'd have to say Helo is my current favourite. Although i did notice Lee Adamah is circumcised, like all good, righteous humans.
with his decidely suspect accent, i'm willing to bet that Baltar is not.
I also like the fact that there is a growing Cylon fith-column, with sympathies for the humans and a general questioning of purpose. The prophecy aspect of the humans, too, is really cool, especially seeing the Cylons are not only aware of said prophecies, but also seem to believe in them as well.
G-d has a plan for you, whether you want it or not.
