snow day!

'FWOOMPH!' Yaaay, it's a snow day! I'll get my workout today shoveling the sidewalk. Fear not, oh ye neo-rednecks of little faith who doubt my intellectual prowess, I now have more time to study for the GREs, as the testing center on campus was closed today along with the rest of the university. Perhaps today I will redesing my website.

Though you are probably already aware of these principles:

1. When you are uncertain about a question, your first 'guess' is almost always the right one. Be very hesitant about changing your answer to another 'guess'.

2. On those questions where the right answer doesn't immediately jump out at you, oftentimes, you can dramatically simplify the question by eliminating the wrong answers. There will usually be a) an answer choice that is completely unrelated, b)an answer choice that is the exact opposite of the correct answer, c)an answer choice close to the correct answer, but logically off, d)the correct choice, e)if e) exists, it will usually be some variant of choices a) and b). Point is, you should be able to quickly eliminate all answer choices except for c and d. And hey - 50% odds aren't bad.

I used to teach the GMAT, GRE, MCAT and LSAT. Good luck on your exam.
