let's go Starbuck!

Whoa...Battlestar Galactica last night was pretty damn cool. Far cooler than I expected. If you missed it you risk a revocation of your Geek Card. But there's two more nights of it for you to make up. Of course I loved the whole apocalyptic theme of it all, and there's also quite the Old Skool Tech analogy going on showing us the dangers of file sharing and feeble network security. A few thoughts:

I was actually able to tear myself away from my new computer, which arrived last night and was set up without a hitch. Now begins the long process of migrating my files, porn, software applications, printer & cam setup for full functionality. I've told all my friends I'll be in seclusion over the next several months with my other best friends CivIII, Temple of Elemental Evil and Neverwinter Nights.

Besides the fact that Starbuck should be a man - I saw the pics of her and she is total lesbian bait - great hair! I unfortunately do not have cable - so Jon better be taping this for me!!!! I was a huge BG fan back in the day. I used to draw those penis ships all day in school. We had epic battles on paper. I hope they release the series on DVD.

OMG yes it totally rocked. Now I can't wait for tonight to watch the rest, how dare they leave us on a cliff hanger!

Ummm...I must have missed something.

Overdramatic. Overacted at times. Disjointed. And didn't we already see Linda Hamilton working out in a cell in T2? Copycats. I'll post a full review when I get a chance. The new Apollo is hot though.

I taped it and can't wait to watch the show.

The new Hordes of the Underdark expansion for Neverwinter Nights is awesome.

Hordes of Underdark!!! I have to get NWN!
Is my mommie Lloth in it?
Do you get to play Drow?

kiri: yer a Battlestar Galactica snob, Brian has the original movie on DVD, and you are a big 'ol drow-muff diving dyke.

bubba: you hypercritical Rex Reed wannabe

Dare I say this - but sometimes computers are better than people.

As you were.

Sean: you are like totally the 7' Cylon chick with the big boobs who steals all the defense network info.

No Lloth, she has mysteriously withdrawn herself from her followers. Thus allowing a matriarch from a minor house to build an army, begging the question who or what she has aligned herself with.

I've been a big fan of NWN, but this expansion is awesome. Plus you get to play Epic levels.

when you order a new pc instead of mac, you lose the right to call windows "evil" -- or maybe you keep the right, but become tainted evil yourself!

You got it, Pontiac...

[You should see my grid array]

Posted by: sean at December 9, 2003 2:33 PM

i'm sorry, but i switched it off an hour in. i thought for sure they were going to bring back that bitchy robot Lucifer. boo!

Posted by: brent at December 9, 2003 10:33 PM

I think they should have called it BATTLESTAR SEX-LACTICA.
Cool approach to the series, but to many changes in my book if they wanted to make it a "re-make"
A "NEXT GENERATION" would have been a better title. Other than that it was pretty cool. Like the Little homages to the original.
But dammit they brought back Boxey.. ARRRRGH

And KIRI, Galactica is available on DVD has been for over a month now, try AMAZON.com :-)
