rhyme tyme
Mitzhi and Chrisafer stopped by rugby practice tonight. I had stopped playing, as Tuesday's practice had reduced both my big toes to a pulpy, blistery mess. They didn't make it through tonight's practice, so I had some time to chat with them like a 12-year old girl. Later we met up at Hamburgurl Mary's with Glenn. A little buzzed and chatting with the waiter, I mentioned we'd be playing D&D at Chrisafer's house this weekend.
"D&D!? That's supposed to really be in these days, like Elijah Wood plays it now." the waiter mentioned.
"Yeah, and Vin Diesel too, but I'm OLD SKOOL. Like I'm the L.L. Cool J of D&D," I respond with my quote of 2003. So now it's time for another jimbo rhyme:

I think Eminem & Snoop better retire and make room for Jimbo.
I started playing when I was 5 when Fantasy-Forest(A kiddie version of D&D) came out then I graduated to fullfledge D&D in 1st or second grade, which was around the same time the Cartoon aired every saturday(I wanted to have Venger's Horse)
I played nothing but Ravenloft and Oriental Advetures in Highschool and played with a group every Saturday in College.
I am not surpised its making a comeback, not that it ever went away to begin with, just people like us "Kept the Faith" so to speak.
My nephew wants me to teach him and watches the old cartoons of the show I have taped.(He wants Venger's Horse too :-) )

Keep it chill, tho, dog. The foursome I last played d&d wif is dissolved, and I'm the only one who didn't end up in rehab. One cat ate 27 tabs at one time (cunt believe he ain't insane)(he's just loco, now)! Another got pulled over after a Dead show and got his (coke, smack, joint, acid) stash cuntfiscated and got thrown in the Joint! The third received prolly the worst fate: foolio ended up Married! All three are now dead sober and quite square.
My mama worried about me playin that game. And look at me now: fully functional societal crackhead!
