today was a good day

Ice Cube would be proud. I was expecting a Woeful Wednesday, having not fully recuperated from the weekend, but today was a good day. The Council at the Hellmouth was more informative than usual, and I actually found myself knowing what they were talking about for a change. I even spoke up a few times, and may have sounded convincing.

I managed to get out of there at a reasonable hour, then a workout, followed by a driving rain. But the sun was still out and it was the kind of warm rain you can walk through and not be concerned about wetness. The dinner was good, and so was the waiter, and of course the date was too. Killer blue eyes and engaging conversation that didn't end awkwardly, followed by a firm kiss goodnight.

But of course I had to watch Enterprise at Gurl's. They tied up the Borg plotline cleanly as they could. When I got home, no roomate and no blaring television eternally on. Quiet and peaceful here and the rain is still serenading outside.

That sounds like a terrific day, hopefully you will get to have another date with this guy.

I was happy with Enterprise, it didn't mess things up too badly and it was an exciting episode.

I too watched Enterprise,The only thing good about it was that the Borg were scary and evil. Everything else felt forced in the story line.
