Bears, Beyoncé, and bee-killers

PradaBear.jpgI met a heterosexual female reader of my blog the other night! I was shocked. I know of a couple of you are out there, but I'm guessing y'all are few in number. Post a shout-out in the comments and reprezent if you like.

Spring 2010 Bear Fashion Preview. Prada Bears all over the world are delighted with new options in pastel.

From Sturtle, a teaser trailer for the film adaptation of the ultra-depressing, post-apocalyptic book The Road. While I loves my post-apocalypse stories, I thought the book went on and on...and I didn't like the ending either. That said I'm looking forward to an hour of depressing greyness and a bag of popcorn! From the previews it looks like the story will be somewhat true to the book.

For those of you who prefer pre-apocalypse, here's the teaser for the remake of V. The priest is hot, and it looks like that one lady who played Adria the Orici in the Final season of Stargate is in it, and that lady who played Neo's girlfriend in The Matrix. Hopefully the show will fill the emptiness inside me since BSG ended. And we had better see at least one guinea pig or small mammal eaten alive by the bad guys, or it's not worth the effort.

And from Jennie, a haunting interpretation of your favorite Beyoncé song by Antony & The Johnsons. It took me a minute to realize what song he was singing.

You've heard of killer bees, but howabout bee-killers? Back home in Beltsville, researchers have sequenced the genome of one suspect responsible for colony collapse disorder (CCD).

Those fashion photos inspired me to go check if the word "douchebear" has an entry on urbandictionary.com yet.

If the cargo pants + pastel blazer combo catches on as a fashion trend, I'm going to be more depressed than I was after I finished reading The Road.

That's hysterical. I edited those von Bierendonck pictures at work the other night. When I got to the underwear pictures, I had to wake up the bf to make him take a look.

So funny to find a link to the Walter Van Beirendonck's show on your blog, almost noone talked about it here in Paris. My boyfriend is n°29, he's a total Chanel Bear. For real. Totally gloating. (I found your blog through BUTT, I am myself a very rare gay french geek, still RPGing from time to time with my fellow creature, totally WoW addicted). Oh and Antony's song: so heartbreaking. Keep on the good work !

oh wow, new visitor to your site here and want to say what a pleasure it is to see mens fashion colors embracing the wonderfully bright and creamy colors of the peacock kingdom pallet. shades of tourquoise on a man is beauty, to me.

the jacket looks a little tight on the guy compared to the loose pants. that part i dont get.

I looked at all of those umm fashions and I couldn't really say that I could see myself wearing any of those anywhere really. I mean there were a few pieces that might work as seperates but other than that. What's with HI on the shirts? Is this guy trying to get bears to become more cruisy?

Rick said:

The flight jacket-y things were alright, I guess... I'm probably just saying that because I could see more man, though.

Hereto female reader in question here, Jimbo, long-time reader, first-time commenter, love the blog, and it was divine to meet the real-deal friend of my beloved "gurl" in real-life person at your (and my) favorite sports bar on U Street! I'll comment more in the future as long as you keep posting dishy bearded yumminess. I doff my hat to you, sir.

Joel Gretsch, the priest guy in the new "V", is a dead ringer for Marc Singer who played Mike Donovan in the original 1983 mini series.
