elsa.jpgTonight I'm going to see upstairs tattoo Sean's art show. That's some of his work on the right. I call her "Jennifer" but he calls her something else, but it's an apt interpretation of a Jennifer so I love it. It looks like she's saying "OMG I'm a new intern on The Hill and I can't like believe I'm having a martini in a gay bar and OMG I am sooo drunk! WOOOO! Let's dry hump on the dance floor with my gay coworker!" Anyway, I encourage everyone to attend the show and stare at Sean intensely while he's reprezenting his artwork as to make him feel uncomfortable. His work will be on display for some time, so if you missed it tonight you can stop by later.

Busy as hell at work. Everyone saved all their tasks for the week after the new year. We'll get 2 days off on inaugural weekend. You know, I'd like to go skiing, and it shouldn't be such a huge trial to go to Wisp resort and take a day for skiing on such a long weekend, right? What a great idea! I think skiing or snowboarding with jimbo would be really fun, don't you?

Free Stuff: Order your Biosecurity For Birds 2009 chicken and bird calendar from USDA, among other things.

Wilford Brimley is gonna give you diabeetus desktop image.

Prince may be a douche bag, but he has a cool new website, some new tracks and he says he prays with the gays.

Our mayor of Washington, D.C. Adrian Fenty has granted some meeting time with GLOV to address public safety concerns. The meeting is scheduled for January 16, 2009 and Police Chief Lanier will also attend, but is closed to the public.

I am still mourning the loss of Myrtle and Betsy. I'll have to get one of those Chicken calendars to remember them by. SNIFF. :(

August is the best month on the B-SC. Pelicans, how I love them. They visit the marsh in Spring and Fall out here. So beautiful, especially when they dive for fish.
