Voting took under an hour for me today, although I got out of the house late so I think most of the mob had already voted. The guy in front of me was casually sipping his 40oz. as we waited. I wish he had shared, but fine, don't share your malt likka. Be that way.

DC motorists will lose their minds at the slightest excuse, and today's voting frenzy was no different. In three instances on the walk to the voting place, three different drivers ran red lights and almost ran me over. I mean the yellow light had long since changed when they ran the light. Attention DC Voters: I am as excited as you about this election cycle, but please remember those little laws that keep your fellow resident alive and well. Stop at red lights, thanks.

Tonight's wellness plan to keep me sane involves a trip to the gym before I get home, and going to TJ's house to watch all the hoopla on TV. TJ has been defying despondency lately over all the hype and hoopla. I'm going to bring some candy corn to make him feel better.
