She's Only Seventeen
Still tweakin' this new blog thingy, which involves learning some new Web 2.0 doohickeys and working with the new complicated interface, but at least I have the pull-down blogroll working.
I had a nice weekend which included going to the Saturday night rugby party as Kip Winger, or the death of heavy metal. Eventually the heavy wig began to cut the circulation to my brain, so I had to take it off and go as glam rock coreographer instead. Today me, Michael, TJ, Jason and Steve went to see the documentary For The Bible Tells Me So, which was about how literal interpretation of the bible in the U.S. can be hard on families with gay people in them. It was a good film that I went into thinking I was gonna be angry the whole time hearing the same crap I've heard before, but there was some good insight in it and a happy ending at least. And it was fairly long too so if you like it you're getting your money's worth. Now I just need to see a good (fictional) horror movie instead of a non-fiction horror movie.
Brrr! Had to turn the heat on tonight to keep the basement warm. We finally got a good 3-day soaker later last week which I hope the trees soaked up enough for happy buds in the spring. Fall is finally here for real now.

Please post a picture of you as Kip Winger. Thanks.
We saw the original 1925 silent "Phantom of the Opera" on Friday night.
We have to wait until the end of November to catch "the bible movie" we're already looking forward to it!
Is it wrong that I find Kip Winger hot?
I like the new blog!
APRIL!?!?!?
Frrrrraaaaaaaaaaaakkkkk!
OK... anyways. Nice new look!
And, yeah, I heard reviews making it sound like the movie (bible tells) really had a hopeful feel to it. I've been looking around here to see if it's still playing.
Thanks for the quick review on the documentary - I was planning on seeing it already, but glad to know it will be worth my while.
And as for BSG - now that we hear the final season is delayed, has anyone heard a peep about season 3 coming out on DVD? I'm dying to see it! (Yes, I know you can download it on iTunes, but I want it on my TV.)
